Dr. Georgia Kalantzi, Co-founder and CEO of AlongWave, will join the upcoming PHAROS “Meet the Oceanpreneur” webinar, “Greening the Gateway: Smart Ports & Blue Logistics,” taking place online on 1 October 2026, from 12:00–13:00 CET.
The session will explore how smart ports and blue logistics can contribute to cleaner, more efficient and more sustainable maritime operations, bringing together perspectives from marine technology, ocean data, port operations and environmental innovation.
Georgia will bring more than 20 years of experience in physical oceanography, wave modelling, ocean data and maritime intelligence, sharing AlongWave’s perspective on how trusted marine weather intelligence can support better operational decisions across the maritime sector. She will be joined by Richard Hardiman, Founder and President of RanMarine Technology, creator of the WasteShark autonomous vessel for collecting floating waste from ports and waterways.
