AlongRoute Data took the stage at Panathēnea 2026 in Athens as one of six finalists selected for the festival’s startup competition.
Panathēnea 2026 brought founders, investors, creators and innovation communities from Greece and abroad together across Athens, with more than 10,000 participants from 60 countries reported by the organisers.
The pitch provided an opportunity to present AlongRoute’s work in marine-weather intelligence and the challenge at the heart of the company’s mission: turning complex and uncertain ocean conditions into information that maritime professionals can use with greater confidence.
The presentation introduced AlongRouteData’s approach to strengthening marine-weather information through ocean science, data engineering, observations and AI, with a focus on making forecasts and historical marine conditions more useful for real maritime products and operational workflows.
