Over the past four years, AlongRoute has grown from an idea focused on better forecasts along the route into a company delivering marine-weather intelligence to maritime customers and technology platforms.

As we evolved, one thing became increasingly clear: our name often suggested that we were a routing company. We are not.

In fact, voyage-optimisation and routing companies are among the customers we exist to support. Our role is to provide the marine-weather intelligence beneath their products, systems and decisions.

That is why our commercial identity is changing.

AlongRoute is now AlongWave.

AlongWave develops proprietary marine-weather intelligence that helps maritime companies better understand both what happened at sea and what is likely to happen next. Our work combines ocean observations, oceanographic expertise, geospatial engineering and AI to deliver marine-weather forecasts, historical ocean-condition reconstructions, visual data products and custom metocean intelligence at global scale.

The mission remains the same: to strengthen the marine-weather layer behind better maritime decisions, stronger products and more reliable operational workflows.
